Shamar Joseph debuted for West Indies against Australia. His dream came true when he scalped Steve Smith on his very first ball in the Test Match. The Caribbean youngster went on to claim star batter Steve Smith and revealed that it has been his best wicket. Joseph claimed that Steve Smith is among his favorite batters and he is delighted to have claimed the wicket on his first ball in Test cricket.

Shamar Joseph was overjoyed upon scalping Steve Smith. He went on to claim that he would remember the wicket for the rest of his life. He further added that he would take a picture of the wicket and post it up in his house.

“To be fare, I really love Steve Smith. The way he plays and goes about his cricket. And getting Steve Smith, I would remember this for the rest of my life. I will actually take a picture of this and post it up in my house,” Shamar Joseph said after the end of day’s play.

It has been a dream start for the youngster. Making his debut in Test Cricket and he gets Steve Smith dispatched on his first ball. A good length delivery saw the ball moving in towards the batter. Smith goes on the defensive front but gets a thick outside edge. The ball flies off as Justin Greaves take a diving catch to dispatch Steve Smith.
