ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Pakistan’s team mentor Matthew Hayden threw a treat to the Pakistan squad and his former commentary colleagues at his home in Brisbane. With the Pakistan team currently in the city for the warm-up matches, Hayden invited them over for a special dinner with Babar Azam and Co certainly enjoying the occasion. With the Pakistan camp set up in Queensland, team mentor Matthew Hayden invited the entire squad and support staff for a special dinner on Monday night. A keen cook, Hayden put up an extensive menu for Babar Azam and Co while also inviting some of his former commentary colleagues. Sunil Gavaskar was amongst the many present, with Pakistan captain Babar Azam, and batting coach Mohammad Yousuf all engaged in a chat with the Indian legend.
Hayden’s former Australia teammate and bowling coach Shaun Tait was also present while the former played with n pet dogs in an adorable segment of the video. The former Australia opener greeted one and all with a little welcome speech, saying he was grateful for the part they played in his life.
“It [cricket] starts with brotherhood, then it extends to families and countries and it is a beautiful part of our lives”, he added.
