Earlier, skipper Mahmudullah’s quickfire 28-ball-50 coupled with Shabik Al Hasan’s handy 46 off 37 balls along with Mohammed Saifuddin’s late hitting (19 not out off 6 balls) helped Bangladesh post a daunting total of 181/7 against minnows Papua New Guinea in their final Group B fixture here at Al Ameerat. Bangladesh is likely to advance into the Super 12 round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 with a win over PNG.
