Bangladesh is facing Sri Lanka in their first Round 12 game today in Sharjah. Chasing 172 runs, Sri Lanka faced a double blow in the ninth over as Shakib Al Hasan accounted for the wickets of Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando. Having already equaled Shahid Afridi’s 39 wickets records, Shakib immediately went past the Pakistan all-rounder to become the leading wicket-taker in the T20 WC history since its inception in 2008.
