That’s the only thing we can do…give our 100% as individuals and as a team. Hopefully we’ll reach the final and do the best for the team,” Pant said.
India had a poor outing last time where they were handed shameful defeats by Pakistan and New Zealand. The defending champions of the Asia Cup are ready for the upcoming tournament but the whole team will have to shake off their nervousness ahead of the World Cup. India will kick start their T20 World Cup campaign against their arch-rivals Pakistan on 23rd October at the MCG.
“I think It’s an amazing atmosphere, playing at the MCG because it’s one of the most iconic cricket stadiums around the world. So, I would love to play there. Especially the Indian crowd there is brilliant for us,” said Pant.
