Pakistan vs New Zealand: Mohammed Hafeez would have landed himself in trouble if tennis star Sania Mirza wouldn’t have come to his rescue. Sania Mirza, who is also the wife of former Pakistan cricket captain and all-rounder Shoaib Malik, arranged a cake for Mohammad Hafeez’s wife Nazia Hafeez and they celebrated her birthday after the match. Hafeez wrote on Twitter: “Happy birthday to my wife @naziahafeez8 I forgot but thanks to rescue angel @MirzaSania to arrange birthday cake on time.”

Pakistan vs New Zealand: Mohammed Hafeez has had little to do in the two games so far, as Pakistan have put itself in a commanding position to make the semi-finals. The Men in green have won the two difficult games of their group against India and New Zealand to go top. With games against Namibia, Scotland and Afghanistan left, Babar Azam and Co. are best placed to make it to the final four, as they look to clinch their first T20 World Cup title since 2009.
