T20 World Cup 2024 Prize Money

The prize money for the T20 World Cup 2024 is the highest among all the T20 World Cup editions. Rohit Sharma and Co. received INR 20.42 crores (2.45 million) from the ICC for ending the tournament as the winners. As stated above, this is the biggest cash prize awarded by the governing council to the winners of the T20 World Cup so far.

However, this amount is significantly less compared to what the BCCI has awarded team India. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced INR 125 crore prize money for the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team.

“I am pleased to announce prize money of INR 125 Crores for Team India for winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The team has showcased exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and support staff for this outstanding achievement,” Jay Shah wrote on his post.
