Chasing 126, England looked like they were on sort of some mission, especially Jos Buttler who slammed the joint-fastest fifty of the tournament, just 25-balls. Buttler along with his opening partner Jason Roy helped England post 66 runs in the powerplay – the highest powerplay score in the tournament so far. He later returned unbeaten on 71 and helped his side register 8 wickets win with 50 balls to spare.
England former captain Michael Vaughan soon took to Twitter to react to England’s dominant win. Michael Vaughan tweeted: “Now that is a message to the rest … England are the best team & most destructive … Whose going to stop them!?? Only #Pakistan look likely at this stage #T20WorldCup”

Only Pakistan & England have managed to win all their three games played so far in the Super 12 round. While England is sitting atop in Group 1, Pakistan tops Group 2 that includes the likes of India, New Zealand, and Afghanistan.
Both Pakistan and England have completely dominated their oppositions in all three outings and seem to be the first favorites to lift the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 trophy.
Apart from Vaughan, England all-rounder Ben Stokes, Harsha Bhogle, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan too were impressed with England’s thumping win. Check out –
