On Monday, on a difficult Sharjah pitch, Jos the Boss showed how to tame a formidable-looking UAE pitch. Batting first against Sri Lanka, England struggled but Jos Buttler kept his cool and started hammering when the pitch eased out and slammed the century. He also became the first English male cricketer to score a century in all three formats. Only England women’s captain Heather Knight has achieved that feat.

Thanks to Buttler’s feat, England cruised to a 26-run win over Sri Lanka and put one foot in the semifinal.
