IPL 2021 champions CSK waiting for Dhoni for party- Last month, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said that CSK will only celebrate their 4th IPL trophy after MS Dhoni returns to India.
“We shall wait for the skipper to return to India. We shall happily wait as there can be no celebration without MS. He has already switched caps from CSK skipper to Team India mentor, so we shall have a small get together once he returns to India after the T20 World Cup,” he told ANI.
However, Dhoni is unlikely to take part after India’s dismal performance in the T20 World Cup.

IPL 2022: It’s official! MS Dhoni to stay at CSK- At 40, he may not be the same batsman but that he led CSK to their fourth IPL title says a lot. While the man himself kept it a mystery, for CSK management, the choice is obvious, ‘He is going to stay for another season.’
“There will be retention and that is a fact. The number of retentions isn’t something we are aware of yet. But honestly, that is secondary in MS’ case because the first card will be used for him. The ship needs its captain and rests assured he will be back next year,” a CSK official told ANI.
