Coming to defend 14 off 6 deliveries, Kagiso Rabada removed Chris Woakes off the first ball of the 20th over. Trying to go for a big hit, Chris Woakes holes it out to Anrich Nortje at deep mid-wickets.
On the second ball, Rabada managed to get rid off England skipper Eoin Morgan who was trying to hit over the longer part of the ground, and holes it out to Keshav Maharaj at deep backward square leg.
On the third ball, Rabada bowled another slower delivery and Chris Jordan couldn’t manage to time it well and was caught by David Miller at long-off.
With this feat, Kagiso Rabada becomes the first South African bowler to take a T20 World Cup hattrick.
