After completing his Indian Premier League stint with the Mumbai Indians, Bumrah visited Old Trafford. The English club also welcomed the Indian star wholeheartedly and gifted him a personalized jersey. “Thank you for your hospitality, @manchesterunited! It was a great afternoon at the Theatre of Dreams ⚽️,” wrote Bumrah as the caption of his pictures.

T20 World Cup: Bumrah will be a vital cog in India’s bowling attack: Talking about the upcoming assignment for the Indian pacer, he has been selected in the 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Bumrah has been a consistent performer for India in all three formats and thus becomes a vital cog in India’s bowling attack.

While playing for Mumbai Indians in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League, Bumrah scalped a total of 21 wickets from 14 matches. He had an amazing average of 19.52 and got wickets at crucial junctures for his team.

The 27-year-old has claimed 59 wickets from 49 games in T20 Internationals and averages 20.25. Bumrah has won many games for India in the shortest format with the ball and thus he will back himself to get the job done at the biggest stage.

India will play their first group match against arch-rivals Pakistan on 24 October. After that, they will play New Zealand on 31 October followed by a game against Afghanistan on 3 November.
