The Indian all-rounder had a decent outing in the Asia Cup 2022 campaign. Apart from his batting and bowling exploits, Pandya also spoke about his fielding. He acknowledged himself to be a natural fielder, however, he is striving hard to reach his 100% potential.
“My fitness has gone up and I am able to spend more time on fielding as well. I always wanted to be exceptional in the field. My goal this season is come and grab a catch that becomes the best catch of my career and I am preparing for that.”

“I was always excited to come to Australia. It was a perfect scenario for me and the team to prepare here for 17 days and get used to the conditions. Credit goes to BCCI and the management to give us this opportunity to prepare ourselves in the best capacity,” said Hardik Pandya.
Speaking about his good performance in the practice games, Hardik said, “I am satisfied. It is not about the runs that I score, it is about my approach to the game depending on the situation. In Australia, it is about one inning. Once you get used to the condition, you can score a lot of runs. The same can be said about bowling.”
