First England beat West Indies by eight wickets, and then suffered a narrow seven-run loss against South Africa. However, their emphatic show against USA have made them the first of the all the Super 8 teams to qualify for the semis. Their massive 10-wicket win with 62 balls in hand, took their NRR over South Africa, meaning whatever happens in SA vs WI game, they are already through.

SOUTH AFRICA

They are in with a great chance to qualify for the T20 World Cup semis after a gap of 10 years. They have won against ENG and USA already and almost through. They just need a point to enter into semis. However, if SA losses, they will be automatically be out. Their match against WI is a virtual quarter-final in that sense.
