He removed two Coca-bottles from the table and took Water bottle in his hands & declared,
“If it‘s good enough for Cristiano, it’s good enough for me,”

Unamused ICC Media officials present in the room soon requested Warner to put the bottles back.

The soft drink bottles soon returned to their original position after intervention of these officials.

Ahead of Portugal’s Euro 2020 opener against Hungary, Ronaldo decided a pair of glass Coca-Cola bottles didn’t belong on the table in front of him during a press conference.

After removing the drinks from the table and placing them out of sight, the 36-year-old produced a bottle of water, holding it up and saying: “Drink water.”

According to various reports, Coca-Cola’s shares dipped 1.6 per cent in value following Ronaldo’s cheeky stunt.

Australia beat Sri Lanka in T20 World Cup: Earlier in the day, after a long time – David Warner showed some form as he scored 65 runs of 42 balls. Aided by Warner’s knock dominant Australia thrashed Sri Lanka by 7 wickets to win second consecutive match in Super 12 of ongoing T20 World Cup. They now level England with 4 points, which is sitting atop of Group 1, and are only behind in the NRR.

Australia will next face England on Sunday morning. “Tonight, I had to obviously start fresh,” Warner told reporters after the win.

“Everyone was talking about my form, which I reiterated was not a thing I was worried about. It was about going out there and starting well. That‘s all we’re trying to do, apply pressure to the bowlers.
