Sanju Samson hasn’t got any chance for Team India in the ongoing T20 World Cup. But the ace batter and keeper has got a rare opportunity to get some much needed game time in the IND vs ZIM T20 series. Sanju Samson has been one of the unfortunate stars to continuously warm the bench in USA.

Sanju Samson got his chance to play in the only warmup game against Bangladesh. He opened for India and was dismissed after scoring 1 run from 6 balls. After spending much time away from the squad, he will now travel to Zimbabwe to be part of a 5-natch T20I series.

While there are doubts regarding his batting position. Also Samson will face tough competition from Dhruv Jurel who will try make the keeper’s role his own. But the onus will be on the Rajasthan Royals skipper. Sanju Samson in IPL 2024 donned a new persona.
