Now, the India batter will have his focus on the India vs South Africa series. The three-match T20 series starts from Wednesday. It will be India’s last official assignment before they fly to Australia after this series. After they reach Australia, India will play some warm up matches before the Pakistan game on October 23.
Hence this South Africa series assumes significance. Kohli will look to contribute with some good scores under his belt. If he manages to do so, the former captain will go into the T20 World even more confident.
