Each team participating in the T20 World Cup 2021 receives a sum of cash even the teams eliminated in Round 1 take-home prize money. The total purse for the T20 World Cup this year is the US $5.6 million. This amount is broken up to give money to all 16 competing teams.
Player of the Match – Mitchell Marsh
Mitch Marsh was adjudged player of the match in the T20 World Cup Final 2021 for his match-winning knock of unbeaten 77 off 50 deliveries. Coming at number 03, Marsh slammed 6 fours and 4 sixes in his knock and guided his side to 8 wickets victory.

Player of the Tournament – David Warner
Australia opener David Warner was adjudged player of the tournament in the T20 World Cup Final 2021. Warner amassed 289 runs in 7 innings at an average of 48.17 and a strike rate of 146.70, including three fifties.
Warner slammed 53 off 38 deliveries including 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Winner’s prize money
ICC allotted 1.6 million dollars (approx. 12 crores) for the Winner while 800,000 (approx. 6 crores) dollars for the runner-up.
Meanwhile, the semi-finalists, i.e., England and Pakistan received 4 lakh dollars (approx. 3 crores) each.
