IND vs AUS at 9:30 AM

India have already played two warm up games against Western Australia but the game against Australia would be the first time they have their entire contingent at disposal. All eyes will be on Jasprit Bumrah’s replacement Mohammad Shami and former captain Virat Kohli, who did not play in either of the warm up matches.

Australia meanwhile were thoroughly beaten at home by g England in the lead up the World Cup. The defending champions will hope that Glenn Maxwell can get back amongst the runs while the like of Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Marsh can put their injury troubless behind them.

NZ vs SA at 9:30 AM

Monday kicks off with the early morning warm-up matches between NewZealand and South Africa alongside the India and Australia game. Last year’s beaten finalists will once again be one of the darkhorses with Kane Williamson at the helm. The same rests for the Proteas, who missed out on last year’s semi-final by a whisker.

The Black Caps recently lost to Pakistan at home in the T20I tri-series final, but they had earlier defeated the champions Pakistan. Meanwhile, Temba Bavuma’s South Africa appeared a little out of sorts in their most recent T20Is against India, where their spinners were thoroughly beaten. Both will look to set aside their recent defeats and get used to the conditions on offer and gear up for the Super 12 stage.

ENG vs PAK 1:30 PM

Both teams clashed in the recently concluded seven-match T20I series in Pakistan. The stakes may be a little low as this is a warm-up match, but in order to sustain their momentum, both teams would like to continue on a strong run.

Following their recent series victory over Australia, the English players’ confidence is expected to soar. On the other side, Pakistan would be happy to defeat New Zealand at home in the tri-series final. Additionally encouraging for them would be Shaheen Shah Afridi’s return after recovering from a knee ailment.

AFG vs BAN at 1:30 PM

Afghanistan’s vast improvement was clearly visible during their deep run into the Asia Cup in UAE. The side made it into the Super Four stage after a dominant showing in the group stage, all the while playing a fierce brand of cricket. Big victories against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will give them confidence that they can now beat the best sides, while they also lost against Pakistan by the finest of margins.

The Tigers have moved on from some senior players in favour of an aggressive strategy based on multiple all-rounders. A dismal showing in the Asia Cup prompted the change of approach, which makes Bangladesh dangerously unpredictable.

Ireland had a poor outing during the 2021 edition as they were knocked out during the qualifiers itself. Besides, they recently lost their warm-up game against Namibia as well.
