Mohammed Siraj turned up the heat on Day 4 of the World Test Championship. With Australia adding to their already substantial lead, India were in a spot of bother with Cameron Green and Alex Carey on song.

While Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Shami bowled tight spells, Rohit Sharma turned to Mohammed Siraj to get him the breakthrough. In a six-over burst the Indian pacer targeted the Australia all-rounder with multiple bouncers.

Siraj bowled some nasty bumpers to Green, with the Australian resolute in defence. The Mumbai Indians all-rounder was hit multiple times on his body, while also being rapped on his gloves.

While Green managed to survive Siraj’s onslaught, he was clearly rattled. The 23-year-old lost his rhythm and which eventually led to his dismissal. Green was foxed by a Ravindra Jadeja delivery, playing it onto his stumps.

Jadeja was quick to recognise Siraj’s efforts celebrating the dismissal with him. Green was a thorn in India’s flesh on Day 4, and getting him out before Lunch serves well for Rohit Sharma’s men.
