After being on the road for months, Surya has got a much-needed break. He is not playing in the ongoing ODI series against Bangladesh. He will be a part of India’s team for the domestic T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka, which is set to begin on January 3 of the following year. Surya is known for his frequent exploration, shopping, and dates with his wife. While playing in India’s away T20I and ODI series against the Kiwis, he went on multiple dates and explored the New Zealand countryside on a regular basis wasting no free time.
The Mumbai player had recently been playing at an elite level. His performance at the T20 World Cup 2022 was spectacular; he concluded the tournament with 239 runs and a blistering strike rate of 189. He finished third in the World Cup in terms of runs scored. He struck a scorching century against the Kiwis in the second T20I last month but struggled to make an impression in the ODI series.
