Jasprit Bumrah was making Royal Challengers Bengaluru players dance to his tunes on April 11. The Mumbai Indians pacer collected a 5-wicket haul and the purple cap by the time the first inning came to a close. The fearsome bowler also came out on top in his battle with Virat Kohli, as he handed his side a second consecutive win.
But, as it turns out, it’s not just the opposition that has nightmares about the pacer. His MI teammate, Suryakumar Yadav, is also scared of facing the fast bowler. Surya, who himself starred in the MI vs RCB match, revealed after the game that even he doesn’t want to face Bumrah.

SKY on fear of facing Jasprit Bumrah
In the post-match interview after the Mumbai Indians claimed an impressive 7-wicket win, Surya revealed that he hasn’t faced Jasprit Bumrah in the nets for the last couple of years. Despite playing alongside him for the Mumbai Indians and the Indian cricket team, the 360-degree look seems to run away from him.
“It’s been almost 2-3 years since I batted against him in the nets because he either breaks my bat or breaks my foot,” he revealed about MI’s spearhead.
