I think it was really important to be myself when I went to bat. That is what the team management wanted from me at that point in time. I think I practiced these strokes a lot when I used to bat back at my home. I think we have batted together for a long time now. We understand how we bat [with Tilak Varma] together. It was his day to bat with more maturity. The way you are batting it is giving me the opportunity to express myself. It was a great thing to bat alongside him,” Suryakumar said in the post match presentation.

It was running at the back of the [that India were 2-0 behind in the series] mind. It is a human tendency. We had a team meeting yesterday. Captain said that it was very important to put the hands up and put up a show,” he added.
