Indian bowlers especially Arshdeep Singh had a bad day on the field as the youngster gave away a couple of no-balls. Dasun Shanaka got a lifeline courtesy of Arshdeep’s no ball and he made the chance count scoring half century. The Sri Lanka skipper smashed 21 off the last over and remained unbeaten on 56 runs as Sri Lanka posted 206/6.
After the top order collapse the partnership between Suryakumar Yadav and Axar Patel brought India back into the match. Following Surya’s dismissal Shivam Mavi joined Axar at the crease and changed the course of the game with his big-hitting skills.
