Suresh Raina opens Indian themed restaurant in Amsterdam, says ‘I am on a mission’

Former Indian batter Suresh Raina on June 23 (Friday) opened an Indian themed restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Southpaw also took to social media and uploaded some pics of his new restaurant. To note, Raina recently celebrated his wife’s birthday in the Dutch capital. He also shared a video celebrating International Day of Yoga on 21 June in Amsterdam.

The former cricketer took to microblogging site Twitter to announce the new restaurant, “I am absolutely ecstatic to introduce Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam, where my passion for food and cooking takes center stage!”

“Over the years, you’ve seen my love for food and witnessed my culinary adventures, and now, I am on a mission to bring the most authentic and genuine flavors from different parts of India straight to Europe’s heart.” Raina said. The latest venture adds to the fusion that Suresh Raina presents in his love for Cricket and food.

“Join me on this extraordinary gastronomic journey as we embark on a flavorsome adventure together.” Raina added. It must be mentioned that Raina’s relation with the Netherland’s capital city is not new. He was a regular visitor to the city when his wife Priyanka worked in a bank in Amsterdam.

With the new food outlet coming up, Raina is expected to have more visits in the city. Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam is open for lunch and dinner, with a takeaway section for convenient on-the-go meals and a fine dining section for an elevated dining experience.
