Despite not being part of the playing XI, Yadav’s acrobatic effort sent Sri Lankan opener Vishmi Gunaratne packing. The incident occurred during the very second ball of the Lankan innings. Indian pacer Renuka Thakur induced an edge from Gunaratne’s bat, who tried to hit after stepping out. The ball soared up high towards the point, where Radha was stationed as a substitute for injured skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.
With incredible agility, the 24-year-old ran back, judged the ball’s trajectory perfectly, and dived forward to pluck the catch out of thin air.
