Stuart Law appointed as USA Men’s Team head coach with T20 World Cup in mind

Law had a number of roles in Australia, including batting coach to the national team, a job with CA's Centre of Excellence, and coaching the Under-19 team.

The USA men’s team has appointed former Australian batter Stuart Law as their new head coach. Law will start his stint with the three-game T20I series against Bangladesh before the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be co-hosted by USA and West Indies in June.

Law’s previous roles

Law has coached the West Indies and Bangladesh in the past. In the past, he had also coached Afghanistan and Sri Lanka on an interim basis. He coached the Bangladesh Under-19 team as well. 2012 saw him guide Bangladesh to their first-ever Asia Cup final.

USA is one of the strongest Associate nations in the sport, and I believe that we can mold a formidable squad going ahead,” Law said. “The first task will be to prepare the team for the series against Bangladesh and then set our sights on our home World Cup, which will be huge,” Law said.
