Notably, Broad co-owns this pub alongside another former English pacer Harry Gurney, whom Indian fans will recognize from his stint with Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. Emergency services arrived at the scene around 3:20 AM, and as per reports, it took eight fire crews to bring the fire under control.
The pub is located on the border of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. Despite the damage to the building, no one was hurt in this fire. Meanwhile, the veteran speedster picked up 2 wickets by conceding 107 runs in the first innings of the ongoing Test match against New Zealand. He scalped the wickets of Kyle Jamieson and Tim Southee.
