Mohammed Shami has become the fastest bowler ever to complete 200 ODI wickets by balls bowled in history. He achieved the feat during the India vs Bangladesh match at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. Shami, who missed over 400 days of international cricket due to surgery and rehabilitation, is undeniably one of India’s greatest pacers. He does not often get lauded amongst the elitist of Indian players but his numbers in one-day internationals are quite extraordinary.
