Australia’s star batter Steve Smith has announced his retirement from the ODI format after Australia was knocked out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 by India in the semifinal at the Dubai International Stadium.

Steve Smith concluded his ODI career with 12 centuries. His last ODI hundred came on September 11, 2022, against New Zealand, where he scored 105 at Cazalys Stadium in Cairns. He registered his first ODI century on October 7, 2014, against Pakistan in Sharjah, scoring 101. From there, he continued to pile up centuries over the years.
