But during the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), some Indian fans gave it back to the Australian players, particularly Mitchell Starc, who wreaked havoc with his superb pace bowling in the IND vs AUS Adelaide Test. In a compelling video going viral on social media, a section of Indian fans were seen teasing Starc on his Indian Premier League (IPL) adventures.

In the video, Starc was seen drinking water near the boundary ropes when he hears Indian fans shouting, ” IPL,IPL, IPL… Starcy (Mitchell Starc) loves IPL.” Right after then, the fans began to cheer “KKR, KKR,” with one fan shouting, “How much?,” indicating to Starc’s hefty contract worth Rs 24.75 crore at IPL 2024 when he was roped in by the Kolkata Knight Riders, the eventual winners.
Incredibly, Starc has switched alliance with the Delhi Capitals (DC), who paid Rs 11.75 crore to acquire his services at the IPL 2025 mega auction.
