Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced its Sri Lanka A squad for the upcoming Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China. The multi-nation event will see both the men’s and the women’s sides participate from September 23 to October 8.
The Asian Games will clash with the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, and therefore, sides like Pakistan, India, and now Sri Lanka have decided to send their second-string sides to the event.

Sahan Arachchige, who was included in the Asia Cup 2023 Final squad, will lead the 15-men Sri Lankan side in the Asian Games.

The women’s team will be in action from September 19 to 26, and skipper Chamari Athapaththu will continue to lead them at the event.
