Jos Buttler had his stars to thank on Tuesday after the English was saved twice from being sent to the pavilion in powerplay against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Facing Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 1st over of the innings, Buttler struggled against the movement and edged one to Abdul Samad at slip, who took a straightforward catch.
As Buttler walked back it was revealed that Bhuvneshwar Kumar had overstepped, and the Englishman was brought back to the crease. Buttler was later dropped at slip as he slashed hard at Umran Malik, and it went for a boundary. The Englishman did make most of his chance scoring a quick-fire 35.
