SRH Playing XI vs RCB: Virat Kohli’s nemesis Sandeep Sharma set to return – Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been knocked out of contention, but they could very well spoil the part for others as they head into their final two games of the season. Following their exit, the Sunrisers have opted to give their youngsters some games, meaning that the likes of David Warner and Manish Pandey have been out on the sidelines. Kane Williamson is likely to continue doing so for the final two games of the campaign, with only Sandeep Sharma being a probable returnee to the XI for the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
SRH Playing XI vs RCB: Virat Kohli’s nemesis Sandeep Sharma set to return, Warner, Pandey to remain out
Kane Williamson could welcome back Sandeep Sharma back into the side for the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Sharma has a favourable record against Virat Kohli and has dismissed the RCB skipper seven times in IPL history. SRH would certainly be tempted to bring the medium-pacer in, as a replacement for Siddharth Kaul, who performed fairly well in the chances he received.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to be retained in the side, while Umran Malik, who impressed one and all with his raw pace on debut, should also feature. The batting order should remain the same, with Jason Roy and Saha at the top of the order, followed by Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad. Jason Holder and Rashid Khan take up the remaining two overseas slots.
Well-deserved praise for Umran, who made his #IPL debut for the #Risers last night.#OrangeArmy #OrangeOrNothing #IPL2021 pic.twitter.com/j7F9H8kRic

- Sandeep Sharma is likely to return, having dismissed Virat Kohli seven times previously.
- Umran Malik should be retained after he recorded the fastest ball bowled by an Indian in IPL 2021.
- The middle-order should also remain intact, with SRH likely to hand another opportunity to Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma to showcase their talent.
- A case could be made for Shreevats Goswami and Basil Thampi to make it to the XI
- Of the original 24 players in the SRH squad, only Goswami and Thami are yet to feature in a game, and the duo could get a chance with just two games left in the season.
