Former PBKS captain Mayank Agarwal wasn’t able to held his fort against an an uphill challenge from the South African player. Aiden Markram was chosen as the next captain given that he recently guided Sunrisers Eastern Cape to the first-ever SA20 championship. The South African was also the player of the competition.

But it looks like this fierce competition had no effect on Mayank. On Thursday morning (January 23), Mayank Agarwal posted a cute photo with his son. In the image, the Indian ace could be seen making his son drink milk from a bottle.

Sharing the image, Agarwal wrote: “Time for a drinks break.”

Agarwal’s season as the captain of the Punjab Kings and a batter wasn’t particularly successful in 2022. Agarwal had a 16.33 average, and his performance matched the success of his team.

This season with no more pressure of captaincy on his shoulders, one can expect runs again from the bat of Mayank.
