Veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has seen the highs and lows of Sunrisers Hyderabad from very close quarters. The Hyderabad franchise had struggled for form in the last three seasons, and had not been able to make it to the playoffs. However, with new skipper Pat Cummins at the helm, SRH look like a rejuvenated side and are at the cusp of their 2nd IPL trophy. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is confident of SRH lifting the trophy when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.
“It’s a different feeling because we hadn’t played in the playoffs for the last three seasons. It’s a great feeling. The way we were playing this season, we had a feeling we would reach the final, and then it was a one-match scenario,” Bhuvi told Jio Cinema on the eve of the final.

“Everyone’s happy with how everyone has contributed, it was fantastic teamwork. Winning the IPL title is really special and now that we have reached the final, we will definitely win the trophy,” he added.
Teamwork: Secret to SRH’s success
SRH have looked like a new team with players stepping up and taking responsibility to see that the team worked like a well-oiled machine. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head have given SRH wonderful starts, while the likes of Heinrich Klassen or Abdul Samad have taken the responsibility in the middle-order.
Pat Cummins, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the rest of the bowling unit has ensured SRH’s opponents can be restricted to a bare minimum.
