“Speed gun needs urgent servicing”: Vinay Kumar gives perfect reply to Sanjay Manjrekar

Former India Cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has landed in yet another controversy. Now former pacer Vinay Kumar has blasted Majrekar for calling him a 120 kmph bowler. Vinay Kumar retired back claiming that Manjrekar’s speed gun needs urgent servicing.

The incident took place during Day 3 of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. During his commentary, Manjrekar went on to explain, how Vinay Kumar who despite being low on pace was a top wicket-taking bowler. He further claimed that bowlers like him needed a little bit of grass on the pitch, and at speeds of 120 kph, they would go on to scalp wickets.

“But I think that’s gone. Medium pacers like the Vinay Kumars, with no disrespect to him, were topping the wicket-taking charts because all they needed to do with grass on the pitch was put the ball at 120 kmph in the right area, and they got wickets,” Sanjay Manjrekar said.

Vinay Kumar gives a befitting reply to Sanjay Manjrekar

Vinay Kumar was not at all happy with Manjrekar’s comments. He immediately took to social media to give his reply. He went on to claim that Manjrekar’s speed gun needs servicing. He further claimed that he was happy with his achievements and has also gone on to become the first Indian pace bowler to pick 100 IPL wickets.

“Sanjay bhai, with due respect, your speed gun requires urgent servicing. 120KMPH. Seriously? With God’s grace, I take pride in my achievements. I am contented, satisfied, and happy with my life, “ Vinay Kumar wrote on X.

“Medium pacer like Vinay Kumar has worked really hard to become the 1st Indian fast bowler to take 100 IPL wickets and has also played for the country in all formats. I take pride in my bowling. Anyways, best wishes and regards,” he added.
