South Africa rest top players, will India follow suit in IND vs NED?

The Indian team management might be tempted to rest few key players for the IND vs NED game on Sunday.

High-flying India will take on the Netherlands in IND vs NED Cricket World Cup match at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on November 12. India, South Africa and Australia have already sealed World Cup semi-final berth. The Proteas, who are playing Afghanistan in their final league game on Friday, have rested few key players for the clash. With the big semi-final in sight, will Team India follow the same suit and rest key players for the Netherlands’ clash? We think so.

With 8 wins in 8 games, Team India will look to rest a few players given that they have already secured a place in the semifinal. The Men in Blue are likely to rest pacers Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj for the Netherlands’ clash.

The Indian team management can also give Ishan Kishan a game in place of Suryakumar Yadav.

Team India’s senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are set to continue given the form the players are in. Both Rohit and Kohli have been in top form in the ongoing tournament so far. Kohli has scored 543 runs in eight matches, while the Indian skipper has amassed 442 runs in 8 innings.
