The Asia Cup 2023 is just around the corner and there is a huge hype regarding the all-important India vs Pakistan clash. Ahead of the commencement of the big event, former India team skipper and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly gave his prediction on who will win the IND vs PAK clash, set to take place on 2nd September at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

Arguably the biggest match in the group stage of the Asia Cup 2023 will feature the two arch-rivals India and Pakistan locking horns on 2nd September. Speaking to the media in Kolkata about his predictions as to who will win the India vs Pakistan tie, Sourav Ganguly said, “It is very difficult for me to choose a favorite. They are both good teams. Pakistan is a good team and of course India is a very good team.”

“There are no favorites, whoever plays well will win the game,” said Ganguly on the upcoming India vs Pakistan clash

In a huge boost for the Indian Cricket Team, Jasprit Bumrah returned to International Cricket and guided the Men in Blue to a 2-0 series win against Ireland. Bumrah is now slated to return to India and join the camp at the National Cricket Academy in their preparatory camp for the Asia Cup 2023.

Back into the side after a long break of almost 11 months, Bumrah will spearhead India’s pace attack in the Asia Cup. “Bumrah was good in Ireland and it is a very good thing. He started his stint with T20Is and now in ODIs, he will have to bowl 10 overs. So with time, his fitness will get better,” said Ganguly.

when questioned about Yuzvendra Chahal’s exclusion from the Asia Cup, the former India skipper added, “You can only have three spinners and I think they have done the right thing by picking Axar (Patel) because he can bat.”
