Delhi Capitals to revamp Arun Jaitely Stadium
Last month, the news of the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) deal with the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) came up. As per the deal, DC would invest 75 crore in the maintenance and upgrade of the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
“The stadium has had a lot of complaints about the atmosphere during games. That has been prioritised by DDCA and Capitals.” a source told TOI last month.
“DDCA has no other venue, thus in addition to hosting games, it also hosts men’s and women’s camps there. To control the strain on the stadium in the future, the Capitals management will work with DDCA,” the source said.
