- After the performance, Dona took to Facebook to share some photos of the event. She also said it was a great honor and privilege to perform at the UNESCO event
- The event was s significant one in the ongoing celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – 75 years of India’s Independence
- “Honoured to perform at Victoria memorial to celebrate Durga Pujo in UNESCO list as part of intangible cultural heritage in presence of Shri Amit Shah and Governer Jagdeep Dhankhar,” Dona said
- This was also Shah’s first visit to Kolkata after his party BJP had lost last year’s assembly elections
