Speaking about the match, the Aussies won the toss and opted to have a bowl first. The English openers got off to a decent start but skipper Pat Cummins broke the opening partnership by dismissing Zak Crawley. Both lefties, Ben Duckett and Moeen Ali got decent starts with the bat but could not manage to convert their starts.

Senior players including skipper Ben Stokes, Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow could not even cross the double-digit mark as the visitors completely tilted the match in their favor. However, youngster Harry Brook bailed out his team from a tricky position as he played a decent knock of 85 runs.

For Australia, senior pacers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood have scalped two wickets so far. While Cummins, Mitchell Marsh and Todd Murphy have scalped one wicket each.
