Slowest fifty in T20 World Cup final ft. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli scored a slow fifty off 48 balls in a T20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval Barbados against South Africa.

Virat Kohli delivered when India needed it the most. In the T20 World Cup 2024 final, with the team in blue down by 32-4, Kohli had to play cautiously to preserve wickets and avoid losing his crucial wicket.

Kohli scored a crucial fifty off 48 balls, including 13 dots and 26 singles. He hit only four fours during his half-century.

Gautam Gambhir’s match-winning knock in the T20 World Cup 2007 final was a slow innings with fifty in 54 balls. However, it was for a winning cause. And we hope that Virat’s fifty will also end up winning.
