From ecstasy to sadness, cricket gives you it all. And Smriti Mandhana knows all too well about it. The Indian vice-captain was playing as well as she ever has in the IND vs AUS Women Test at Wankhede Stadium. Reaching close to her second Test ton, it was going as Mandhana wanted. However, a brain-fade moment has cut her stay in the middle short.
Batting on 74, Mandhana was just 26 runs away from her second Test ton against Australia. The Southpaw averaged a whopping 77.33 against the Aussies and seemed all too casual.
Similar to what Harmanpreet Kaur did in the IND vs ENG test last week, Smriti Mandhana was being too lazy. Despite having ample time, Mandhana was caught lacking with her bat right on the line.
