The second fixture of SLC Invitational T20, 2021 will now be played today between SLC Blues and SLC Reds at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in the evening.
Dhananjaya De Silva will lead SLC Blues that seem pretty much balanced on paper with the likes of Angelo Perera, Sadheera Samarawickrama, Suranga Lakmal, and Ashen Bandara. SLC Reds, on the other hand, will play under the leadership of Dinesh Chandimal and boast a couple of big hitters in the likes of Avishka Fernando and Chamika Karunaratne.
Both teams will be looking to kick off the campaign with a win and set the tone for the tournament. A total of four teams are taking part in this 12-day long tournament. Each team will play six matches in the first round whilst the top two teams will advance into the finals scheduled to be played on 24th August 2021.
The match will start at 07:00 PM IST and will live stream on the SLC YouTube Channel globally.
