Naseem Shah got the Asia Cup final off to a perfect start with a peach to dismiss Kusal Mendis in Dubai. The Sri Lankan opener, facing his first delivery was completely bowled over by a seething inswinger that saw his stumps dismantled. The 19-year-old quick has made waves this Asia Cup, having previously dismissed KL Rahul and Mohammad Nabi on their very first deliveries.

The 19-year-old has earned his tripes quickly and has been unstoppable in the tournament with great accuracy with the new ball and at the death.
