Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was one of the players who decided to take a break and explore the country. Maxwell tried his hands at golf and spent an amazing day. Reflecting back on the lady, Maxwell shared some kind words about his and the team’s experience in the ongoing tour.
“It has been an amazing experience. Once we get away from the training to the game, we got out and drove to the golf course today. It has been an amazing place to experience the outskirts of Sri Lanka. We are privileged to be a group that came to this place and we are very lucky to be here,” said Maxwell.

“We are thankful for these opportunities. We love coming to Sri Lank, these are tough times for Sri Lanka at this moment, and to come here and play some good cricket and entertaining cricket excites and brings joy to people. It’s a wonderful tour, a lovely country and we are happy to be here,” concluded Glenn Maxwell.

Maxwell and his heroics helped Australia take a 1-0 lead in the series after the first ODI, however, the hosts came back strongly to win the next two games on the trot and now lead the series 2-1. The 4th ODI is going to be extremely crucial as it will potentially decide the outcome of the series.
