Shubman Gill tonks bowlers in nets, Kohli skips session ahead of IND vs NED game

Team India are eyeing to continue their unbeaten run in the World Cup and have started preparations for IND vs NED game.

The high-flying Team India are preparing for their final league match before the big Cricket World Cup semi-final. With 8 wins in 8 games, the Men in Blue are eyeing to continue unbeatable run and have already started their preparation for IND vs NED. The game will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Novermber 12.

The match is expected to be a high-scoring affair and players including Shubman Gill and KL Rahul were seen playing big shots in nets during the optional training session on Wednesday.

The new No.1 ODI batter Gill was seen tonking net bowlers for mighty sixes. The 24-year-old is still searching for his maiden century in World Cup. The Indian opener has scored 219 runs from six innings in the tournament so far, with the highest being 92 against Sri Lanka.

While Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and others grilled hard in nets, star Indian batter Virat Kohli opted to skip the optional session and stayed back in the hotel. A total of 9 players were present in the stadium for the practice session.

Rohit Sharma, Prasidh Krishna, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Kl Rahul, Shreyas Iyer were the players who took part in the net session.

Although skipper Rohit Sharma was present in the training session, he did not practice and he spent his time having conversations with other batters.
