It was as calm as a conversation can get as India head coach Rahul Dravid took part in a chat with Player of the ODI Series Shubman Gill.
Rahul Dravid reiterate the words of Gill’s father when the opener wasn’t getting those big numbers in. “Shubman are you only going to show us drizzles or are you going to show us some actual rain and thunderstorm.”
“Your dad must be proud of you now with the form you are in for the past month or two,” added Dravid.
“He won’t be too happy because he would have wanted me to carry the form again today and cash in those big numbers,” replied Gill.

Shubman Gill, the Indian opener, tied a rare milestone achieved by Babar Azam against the West Indies in 2016 with his second century during the three-match series against New Zealand.
Tuesday in Indore, Gill scored 112 runs in just 78 balls, giving him his fourth ODI century and second of the series. The opener had scored 208 earlier in the series in Hyderabad, making him the fifth Indian to reach an ODI double hundred.
After scoring 40 runs in the second ODI of the series, Gill’s total runs in the bilateral series now stand at 360.
In a bilateral ODI series of three games or less, the number of runs achieved by Gill is the joint-highest total ever amassed by any batter. Babar Azam scored three hundreds in three games in the 2016 series against the West Indies, totaling 360 runs.
