The Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C announced Gill’s role on Monday, aiming to leverage the young star’s popularity to encourage voter participation. With the target of a 70% turnout (coined as “Is Vaar 70 Paar”), Shubman Gill is tasked with leading voter awareness campaigns across the state.
